Son Roig is one of those houses that explain a place. Built at the end of the 19th century by a family of orange merchants, it looks over the Sóller valley from a terraced hillside, with the Tramuntana mountains closing the horizon.

The 2019 restoration kept what mattered: stone walls more than half a metre thick, the timber beams, the vine that covers the south façade and the cobbled courtyard with its well. Inside, six bedrooms over two floors, a dining room with an iron-framed window and a living room with a stone fireplace.

Around it, a hectare of orange trees, olive trees and kitchen garden, with its own irrigation. Ten minutes' walk from the centre of Sóller and twenty from the port.
